Games that people can just sit down and play

    This thread is the antithesis of Games that people can just pick up and play. I'm not a casual gamer, so although I don't dislike games that are easy to get into, I much prefer games that you can get stuck into for hours and am not offended by a learning curve. Therefore, list worthwhile games that you can sit down and play for hours in this thread!

    I will start with a bunch of upcoming RPGs that I am looking forward to.

    edit:
    I had two 3 hour sessions with Trauma Centre from beginning to tstart of the x1 operation, the time just flew

    At least I'm not the only one that plays the DS on the toilet instead of reading magazines >.<

    My favorite toilet games (or easy to pick up games as not to get off topic too much) include:

    Mario Kart DS (a GP only lasts like maybe 5-8 minutes?)
    Either Castlevania game (DoS or PoR)
    Club House Games
    Brain Age (Sudoku!!!!)
    Picross DS
    The New York Times Crosswords
    Panel De Pon DS
    Tetris DS (Wifi on the toilet, haha)

    Basically any puzzle game, lol.

    Puzzle quest, puzzle quest and puzzle quest.. don't forget puzzle quest.. great toilet game btw.. four outta five toilets rating [​IMG]

    Wow, how did I forget about Puzzle Quest? Now I feel dumb, haha.

    Elite Beat Agents is a good game too... as long as you don't get too excited and drop your stylus in the toilet! Yes, that has almost happened to me...

    I can't play EBA without it plugged into my hi-fi [​IMG]

    And I'm pretty sure I'd have a hard time getting that into the bathroom...

    Well, I think RE is quite a fun game..... pretty easy going though...
    Hotel Dusk perhaps?
    hmmm, and what the others have said...

    I must recommend Etrian Odyssey... It's mightly fun!

    I'll second Hotel Dusk: Room 215. Think it took me almost 20 hours to complete. Very compelling story.

    What about Final Fantasy III ? I just got it today, but since it's an FF game I'd imagine it will take a fair while. Good value for money. [​IMG]
