What are some games that support DVD+R DL besides SSBB?

Also, I thought the Wii only detects DVD-R games. How come it can also detect DVD+R DL games too?

Because the DVD+R gets booktyped as DVD-ROM by default(software or hardware)...That's why it works.
Not really... Many burners don't really support it and therefore it won't get booktyped to dvd-rom. Just buy a dvd-r dl or
download a version that fits on one disk, much easier.

What the hell are you talking about? ALL games work on DVD+R.
I've never had to configure anything but i'm guessing it's being set to DVD-ROM by default.
I have about 50 games now and they all work flawlessly, some of which FAILED on DVD-Rs (This could be due to the brand i was using though).
I've used Verbatim's and Sony's.

So why can't Nintendo add more high quality games that exceed the 4.7GB limit?

So why can't you understand that 4.7GB is enough to fit in Disaster: DoC which is first-party title game which is damn ass superb of a game?

Size can't equal with quality.

..because it's not necessary. The tech inside the Wii is very similar to the tech inside the GameCube. We're not talking video hardware that can pump textures at ridiculous resolutions, etc. Those are the types of things that eat up space on a disc, high-res textures and whatnot. Most Wii games just don't have the amount of content to spill over a regular DVD. Which is great IMO.

Confirmed. Since my PS2 days I've always used Sony DVD+Rs and have NEVER had an issue, still true on the Wii. Not doing anything special either, just using Disk Utility built in to Mac OS X. A lot of my games that people complain about skipping video doesn't skip or is VERY minimal in my experience. Of course there are some that have a high bitrate that are going to skip no matter what. I doubt Disk Utility is changing any kind of book type either it's a pretty barebones burning utility.
