I've setup everything and it all works fine. I've put my wbfs files in a folder USB:\wbfs\mario.wbfs etc.

There's about twenty of them. Only four of them show up in the GX loader and only 3 work.

Of the three that work they're like this:
    J:\wbfs\RMHE08_Monster_Hunter_Tri\RMHE08.wbfs
    J:\wbfs\RMHE08_Monster_Hunter_Tri\RMHE08_Monster_Hunter_Tri.txt

Whereas the rest are simply J:\wbfs\etc.wbfs - and these don't work.

The other one, the J:\wbfs\etc.wbfs file that does show up, cannot be played and it reverts back to the homebrew menu upon intiation. The rest don't show up.

What am I doing wrong? I've updated all the files etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for that. Would it work if I renamed all the files and folders? Also, how is it supposed to look inside the game folders?

Is there a guide explaining how the filing system should work? I've been trying to find one for ages.

It will help, yes. GX, as well as all the other loaders, expect a certain naming format. luke9511's style is one of them. The one you mentioned another. In all cases, the gameID (eg. that 'RMHE08' of monster hunter tri) is the one that MUST be included.

My advice is not to go around naming things manually. Use a program like Wii Backup Manager (check the stickies) to do it for you. It does all the splitting, renaming and even trimming empty data and the update partition automatically. :)

For the record: these are the naming schemes loaders can work with:
    Title [GameID]
    Title_[GameID]
    GameID_Title
    GameID

And yes: if a subfolder follows this name and there is a .wbfs file inside with the exact same name...loaders will find them. :)
