Hi,
I wanted to install a USB Loader onto my modded vWii. I installed the d2x-cIOS and tried with WiiFlow, WiiFlow Lite, and the Configurable USB Loader mod.
While Super Mario Bros. works just fine, I am having Problems with Mario Kart Wii and Mario Party 8:
In Mario Kart Wii, the game runs perfectly while course/kart selection, but just freezes with a black screen just before the race starts.
In Mario Party 8, the game becomes irresponsible when I go to the Mini Games select area, it just freezes on the selection screen.
In both cases the console locks up completely, the only way to go back to the menu is disconnecting the power.
I use my own dumps in WBFS format which I made a while ago, i put them on the 64GB SDHC. The discs were a bit scratched but I don't think that's the problem, as both games run just fine in Dolphin. They crash pretty much the same way with both USB Loaders.
Any Help is really appreciated

Hello,

Happy New Year :grog:;)

Your report looks correct.

Several things can make your games do not work or work badly.

Put your usb support in fat 32 and use wii backup manager to manage your games.

Test with another usb support, to see if that came from that.

Or test your games with the version of cios d2x v10 beta53-alt-vwii

If you have problems before the game starts (controller screen) it could be the fault of whatever loader you're using.

If you have problems after that it's either your cIOS, the disc image, or the device the game is stored on. The loader is no longer running then.

Hello there, I managed to fix it by myself. Thanks to everyone who wanted to help :)
Indeed both games turned out to be bad dumps (which is weird as they worked in Dolphin), both worked after getting fresh ones.
I had my USB formatted by Fat32 and WiiBackupManager, so that probably was not the issue.
However, I consider putting the games back to the SD Card, so I can plug my WiiU formatted drive into the back ports (causes less issues with save managers)
Thanks for your help and happy new year:grog:
