Nintendo def needs to be at top of that list. Amiibo crap dlc, game censorship, almost no 3th party devs, always using a different format then the competition wich also scares 3th party devs away because of cost price because Nintendo doesn't want to pay Sony or Philips or whatever company money for using their format. Copyright claims on YouTube claiming to be above the law in Europe since laws are a lot different here then they are in America. Went to court together with Sony to try and change the warranty law in Europe wich states any device with electrical components needs to have 2 years warranty instead of 1 like in the states wich they both lost btw. And tons of other crap they keep doing, the list just goes on and on ...

Part of the complaints don't really mean anything to a comparison between publishers (that's the poll the OP addresses). I wouldn't say they are the worst at dealing with DLC. Also, censoring applies more for games coming from Japan to the West, which is not always the case for all publishers.

But let me add (again, pointless from the publisher point of view but annoying nonetheless): their online system could be lot better and remain free.

Meh. All large companies have their drawbacks. The more you deal with it, the less you notice. And that makes the drawbacks of other companies seem larger. Let's see...

Nintendo floods the market with stupid figurines.
EA buys other devs and runs them into the ground.
Konamie runs their own franchises into the ground.
Capcom tests the limit of the definition of DLC.
Ubisoft has this steam-wannabe client and all their games look alike.

And the other devs...they're actually UNlucky not to get a mention: people only complain when you're really succesfull with something.

The game isn't about romance, it's a side portion of the game, and it doesn't affect the story of the game whatsoever.

Pretty sure the disc format Nintendo used for the Wii U (and with Wii and GC) is actually superior here, relying on variable data transfer rate by keeping the disc RPM constant, therefore, reducing the access time when the read head jumps around on the disc. Games are not in such a sequentially streamable format like movies are.

And Nintendo does have 3rd-party support. It's just not with the Wii U. I honestly don't know why people conveniently forget Nintendo's other stuff in these situations.....
