Hacking GameCube Saves, only with GameCube Memory Card?

Is there any modchip that can save NGC games on SD card? Or its impossible and never will become true?

I don't think its possible, because when the Wii is in GameCube mode, it essentially becomes a GameCube, and would not recognize the SD slot.

Gamecube games require GC hardware. It won't save to the Wii's SD or flash memory.
