Hacking GameCube saves on MC to SD card?

Is there any way to backup my GameCube saves on a GC memory card to an SD card in a Wii?

Thanks. I did see that, but I'm looking for something that does the opposite & from what I can tell from the page it doesn't have that functionality.

I think I have a program that does that on my Wii, from trying to get ARGC to work via homebrew. Let me check.

EDIT: Hmm, I can't seem to find it, but I believe it does it the opposite way. I'm looking for the guide I followed that had it.

EDIT2: Sorry, I can't find the guide. I'll keep looking and I'll let you know if I come across it.

Google found me this thread...and a program called NuGaSa.Not tested myself, though.

EDIT: also found something called GCMM.

Found NuGaSa but it says it may corrupt official MC's. Guess I'll give it a try anyway.

NuGaSa did absolutely nothing when I pressed 1 to backup saves. Pressing 2 worked to restore, but that's not what I need.
The WiiBrew page of GCMM says it doesn't work with official Nintendo MC's... which is what I have.

Edit: I can't get ANY of these apps to work. I get them loaded, but none of them do a single thing when I press the corresponding button to make the backup(s).

Did you try the memory card on each slot? or you can just buy a MadCatz memory card or some other 3rd party memory card.

Yup tried in each slot. I'll just order a 3rd party card like suggested.

I used to use NuGaSa, but then it just stopped working for no reason.

GCMM works a LOT better and isn't ugly, either.

As I mentioned here, the GCMM version Hielkenator linked to worked rather well for me (PoP sands of time & Paper mario: OK. F-Zero became corrupted*).
I'm using a third party memory card, though.

Savegame restorer may have a nice looking icon, but is totally user-unfriendly (one savegame at the time, only .gci, GC buttons only, named one or two characters long, both name and extension uppercase, savegame should be located in SD:\gc_saves and a savegame shouldn't exist on the memory card already) and has one error warning for literally anything that can go wrong, from a name mismatch to a corrupted savegame. It's more of a proof-of-concept than actual homebrew, if you ask me.




*note: restoring a savegame from the internet is corrupted as well, so there's probably some sort of security or identification stuff on that game.
