Hey all,

I am going to buy a XenoGC modchip for my GC. I dont think i need all the other features, and this one looks like the most bang to the buck.

I think this is a good chip, so what do you guys think? Should i go for it? Or is there a better-suited chip for me?

Just go for it , it aint like you have much choice these days. All I see about any more are the xeno gc and viper gc extreme and if all you want is to boot backups , then the xeno will do the job.

The xeno is the best way to go if you just require the basic features. I use these on a regular basic when i customise gamecubes and never have had any problems. Although this is a quick solder chip, i personally would recommend you wire the chip in instead - just in case you screw up.
