So I've been wanting to play Gamecube games on my Switch with Retroarch. I got the latest version of Retroarch and put it on my Switch and put some Gamecube Roms on my Switch too. On the switch, when I scanned the directory for the Gamecube Games, they never showed up. Can someone help me pls? :) I'm using SX OS.

I also just want to note that N64 Roms do show up but when I RUN them, the Switch crashes. So I'd be glad if someone helped me with this too.

The Dolphin emulator/core doesn't exist on Horizon (Switch OS) at all. You need to run Lakka, Android, or some other Linux variant.

if youre not doing this already, when you want to open up retroarch, open a game while holding R and keep holding r until, hb menu pops up. this is full ram. gives retroarch the memory it needs also suggest overclocking in the retroaech menu

Thank you but I've been looking for tutorials for Lakka but like everybody is using Atmosphere to run it.

    Lakka: https://lakka-switch.github.io/documentation/

    Ubuntu: https://gbatemp.net/threads/l4t-ubuntu-a-fully-featured-linux-on-your-switch.537301/ and https://gbatemp.net/threads/l4t-ubuntu-applcation-install-guides.537579/

    Android:https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-install-android-8-1-lineageos-to-your-nintendo-switch.544568/

I think Ubuntu still has the most perks (docked, wireless joycons, etc) and maybe best performance (in my tests it was the best) but it's also the most difficult to set up if you've never used linux or a command line before. Lakka is probably the easiest to set up.

    Good luck!

Edit: just saw your other thread about you using Lakka, guess you didn't need this post lol.
