Hacking gamecube games not appearing in my friends USB loader GX?

He says he can get a couple games to appear.(like melee and pikmin) but he can't get harvest moon and metal gear solid: twin snakes to appear. Does anybody know why?

usually it's just a case of making sure they're all named exactly "game.iso" except for 2nd disks which should be "disc2.iso" and having them all in separate folders inside usb1:/games or sd:/games (as long as his "custom path" settings are set to that.)

Why some would show up and others wouldn't I can only guess some are named wrong or are in the wrong place.

another issue, some of the gamecube games, though appearing, He is getting a black screen, and one game even shut the wii off.(it still will turn on, but yeah.)

Why could this be?
