i don't want to sound like a noob but has any one thought of the idea of porting dolphin to the wii instead of trying to get backups to run on the wii. the question is does dolphin have any windows specific dependecies or is this possible with alot of work. To me it just seems easier than mios and gcos which i have no idea about.

MIOS hacking seems more plausible.

Uhm, why?
If you want Gamecube games mod your Wii and burn them. You can put quite a few on one disc and that way you wouldn't need a slow, buggy emulator.

Yeah it won't ever happen, I mean the Wii is basically Gamecube 1.5, I doubt its even twice as powerful to run it.

I'm gonna close this topic, the flames will be licking your feet soon.
