Gamecube Cheat format? In Neogamma...

    I have searched the forum and looked through the neogamma threads and googled... I cannot find out what format Gamecube cheats need to be in to work on Neogamma R9.

    Does anybody have the info on how to do this? And help would be appreciated, and if there is a program that makes this easier I would like that too.

    Neogamma uses .GCT files for ocarina cheat codes. You can search up a code manager on Google (a standard one that creates .gct files from .txt codes will work fine).

    So it uses the same format in the gct file as wii games? I have the cheat code manager... but how do I find out the ID for the gamecube game? and look at the cheat format:

    Wii

    040A7D60 4E800020
    04109D88 38800001


    Gamceube

    E218-M32Q-P0K83
    0WT9-U5RK-V5A8G

    do I just do the same damn thing and keep it looking like that?

    and what about the (M) code?

    I was right. the Gamcube cheats DO need to be converted in order to work. Thanks for the help, though, both of you.

    Damn. >_> having trouble again. So I ran the game, activated VI hook type, and activated cheats, but it keeps getting me a black screen... and the cheat is confirmed working.

    Is there a certain MIOS or neogamma config I need to get the cheats working?

    Nevermind. tried a different hook type and now it works like a charm. [​IMG]
