I tried searching, too many results came up to sift through, non of them relevant.

To get old gameboy roms to work on a GBA with an adapter do I have to use an emulator? I want me some 6 golden coins.

Interesting I will have to give it a test.

Lots of bad compatibility but at least 1942 works!

i think if you just want original gameboy and NOT color just use the original Goomba, i find it slightly more compatible with games than goomba color. And Goomba color is slow as well on Color games i find. (Ie Zeldas Mario Golf etc)

Supercard slot 2 cards that support GBA games (i.e. not the rumble) have Goomba in the firmware so you can just drag and drop .gb and .gbc files

If you don't want emulation you would need a GBC flashcard or the Gameboy Bridge and a compatible GBA flashcard.

    Just wanna throw this in:
I have a Supercard Lite and teh Goomba Color built in but I still haven't found a way to save my .gb and .gbc roms successfully. Would you happen to know anything about this?

    Found this here: http://eng.supercard.cn/faq/index.htm
I just tried it and it seems to work ok

Question: How to keep game save of NES, GB, PCE, SMS/GG game?

    Answer:

Do you know how to keep the GBA game save? I think you know, just press L+R+A+SELECT. Now, GBC and NES games can use this function too.

    1. copy a any xxxx.sav file from supercard output folder.
    2. rename xxxx.sav filename to the same name as .GBC or .NES game. Such as contra.nes, you should rename xxxx.sav to contra.sav.
    3. put the two file contra.nes, contra.sav to your CF/SD/MiniSD card together.
    4. you keep the GBC and NES game save with L+R+A+SELECT function.
    Example:

    Save Nes
    1. You need to press L+R enter PocknetNes menu when playing NES game.
    2. Use save stage function of PocknetNes menu.
    3. And press L+R+A+Select backup save to .sav file which in the SD/CF flash
    Load Nes
    1. Run NES game. (SuperCard system will load .sav file automaticly.)
    2. press L+R enter PocknetNes menu when playing NES game.
    3. Use load stage function of PocknetNes menu.

    @ Larvi

Thanks a million for the help! I noticed one small problem with something you said however:

"put the two file contra.nes, contra.sav to your CF/SD/MiniSD card together."

As you recall, I use a Supercard Lite which requires the use of a MicroSD card. Don't know if this method will still work but I'll give it a try. Once again, thanks! [IMG]

"put the two file contra.nes, contra.sav to your CF/SD/MiniSD/MicroSD card together."

There is really no reason why it shouldn't work [IMG]
