"This video shows my Nintendo Wii running Gameboy and Gameboy Color games on Wii RIN, a program designed to run Gameboy and Gameboy Color emulators.

    Here's EVERYTHING that was used:
    1x unmodded Wii (no chip)
    1x Zelda: Twilight Princess
1x SD card plugged into front SD port
    1x GameCube controller for emulator
    1x Wii remote/nunchuck "

Read his post again, m0dm0use ... it's gameboy and gameboy color ... as it would be.

It wouldn't be an exploit. There would have to be an emulator written.

Will we be seeing a way to load this from a channel off of SD?

GB and GBC should be easy. GBA is possible given effort, as PSP shows.

DS emulation itself could be done. But most games wouldn't run at playable speeds. Wii isn't fast enough.

The Wii does have the starlet chip which is ARM and thus may be able natively process DS instructions. If this chip inside the graphics card is accessible it might be possible to have it translate DS graphics to something native to the graphics card which could lower the emulation overhead. Chances are this is not possible due to the nature of the starlet. Its a far fetched theory I know.

Hopefully Snes9x will actually run decently on the Wii, it was kind of funny how the GBA emulator on PSP ran faster than the SNES emulator.

does this save yet? and also, can you load games from a menu like SNES9X or can you only have one game on the card at a time (thats how i heard it works but i could be wrong).

It doesn't save yet. Yes you can load games from anywhere on the SD card, the menu system is pretty crude but it works.
