tshu, I think I may know your problem. When running a couple of games (on VBA) I also noticed black specks and lines and weird glitches. But when I flashed it to my flash cart everything worked fine. Maybe you should try it on your flash cart if you haven't already?
Thanks, but I never even tried it on VBA. I've only played it on my flash cart.

I hate this.... I get of taste of something so good, but just a taste. I'm going to be watching this thing like crazy now waiting for another release. I sure hope that Seasons and Ages will work in the future. =)

Seems to work great for me. Make sure you're using the latest version.

Alpha 3 out:
http://home.comcast.net/~alanweiss3/dwedit...olor_alpha3.zip

Updated:
No longer shows colored solid tiles when the screen should be off
Fixed off-by-one scanline problems introduced in alpha 1.
Now you can specify whether you want to emulate a GB, GBC, or GBA
Added double speed mode, either timers only or complete
Fixed splash screen corrupting graphics
Go Multiboot feature for smaller GB roms (and a couple tiny GBC games too)
Major changes to SRAM save system
Added 32k saves, Enter the menu with L+R to save the game's sram
Stack writes to SRAM are now saved
Save files smaller in pogoshell
Some changes merged from Kuwanger's version
Palette changes apply immediatly

Saving in 32k save games (such as Pokemon G/S/C) now works, but after saving in game you must press L & R to enter the menu which saves it to the SRAM. Working great, have fun!

sweet. hope this update fixed survival kids. that game was way better on gbc than on nintendo ds.
Yay survival kids!

Yes, I loved that game. Lost in Blue on DS isn't too bad either though.

I'm SO happy with the alpha 3 update, every game I have tried works great now! Just some slowdown when alot of sprites are on screen at once.

you mean, there are no gfx glitches?

Well, nearly none

there are still a lot of games that don't work properly yet, though they have fixed a lot of glitches from the previous versions.
for example, ive heard that the legend of zelda games work with this new version.
but definitely not ALL games work yet, because then it would be a beta or final release

Am I the only one who can't compile anything with Goomba Front ? It says it was compiled but the .gba rom doesn't appear...

Make sure the "Goomba.gba" file is in the same folder as "Goombafront.exe"... that should do the trick

If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
