Gameboy advance sp speaker issue

Hey, I’m new here and I was wanting to know if I could get some help with my gba sp and it’s speaker. I’ve started working on a boxypixel unhinged sp and I noticed when fitting it together that the speaker has stopped working. From what I can tell, it’s a problem with the specific motherboard I’m using because the speaker worked when it was tested with another system. The pads on the speaker have good contact with each other so I’m not sure what’s wrong. If anyone could clue me in on what I can do to fix it, it would be very appreciated. Thank y’all so much
