The type of phone I have is an SGH-T339 (Samsung).

Does anybody know of an emulator to play GBA games on it?

I don't think so. Its not popular phone so I don't think anyone will make a emu for that phone. And the screen is to small. I wish there was one for my phone its a LG Voyager.

There are some java gameboy/color emulators, but Im not sure about a GBAemu, but it will probably be 3fps when u eventually find one [IMG] (the GB/GBC emu's are pretty nice acutally, I used to play pokemon gold on my phone during class).

There are some GBA emu's for pocket pc btw..

I don't know about Symbian but GBA is way too powerful to emulate in J2ME.

There are some J2ME GB/GBC emulators, though. MeBoy, for example.

I wrote some code for it a few years ago.

So I got Meboy on my phone. I made the JAR file already. But when I try to run it on my phone it asks me if i want to launch the MIDlet. But when I try to run it, the following error message appears:

The MIDlet could not be instantiated:

    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

As others mentioned, there's no GBA emulator for your phone. Sorry.

You might want to be careful with that quadruple post there...

If you want to know which cell phones DO have a GBA emulator, you'd probably want to go with a Symbian based phone(Nokia) or something like the iPhone.
