Microsoft announced today the new titles coming to Game Pass this month. Among the most popular titles are the Fable Anniversary and Fable III joining the cloud gaming lineup (all three Fable games are already available on console Game Pass) and the recent remake of Destroy All Humans!. Also coming to PC Game Pass is the adorable indie co-op puzzler Phogs!, which received high scores in our official review. The full list of games, with their platforms and dates, is as follows:

  • MLB The Show 21 (Cloud and Console) – Available Now
  • Phogs! (PC) [email protected] – April 22
  • Second Extinction (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console, and PC) [email protected] – April 28
  • Destroy All Humans! (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 29
  • Fable III (Cloud) – April 30
  • Fable Anniversary (Cloud) – April 30
The following games are also leaving the service on April 30:
  • Endless Legend (PC)
  • For the King (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Fractured Minds (Cloud and Console)
  • Levelhead (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Moving Out (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Thumper (PC)

I just freakin bought Fable ughhhhh. It was like $2 but still lol.

That being said, I really like it so far
For my part I'd say it's really the only game worth playing in the series. The sequels were such generic fantasy material and added just a couple shallow features each. Obviously Molyneux over-promised and under-delivered with every single one of them.

Basically, yeah. Only on Android phones and tablets as of now, but it’s expected to roll out for PC later this year. I think that’s in beta right now, actually.
Thanks. I thought it was named xCloud, or something.
For mobile devices only at the moment, hm? They are smart, indeed.
I wonder why MLB is available in Cloud and console but not the demanding Phogs!
I'd love to know the reasoning behind these choices.

They are gettin a lot for you buck... Tempting... However I still rather buy then "rent"

I bought a year worth of game pass for $90 I haven't activated yet. I used to praise game pass for being the best gaming subscription opposing to PS Now (it still is) but the delisting games left a bad taste in my mouth. This is good if you're going to play daily and beat the game in a month but if you're like me and procrastinate they'll delist the game before you beat it.

Gamepass is still good don't get me wrong but I have all the last gen consoles and I have subscriptions all except my Xbox. (Sony robbed me for 2 years because I didn't take my credit card off file but I'll rather pick PS Plus because I still keep my games aslong as I subscripe to them. Also they are giving away PS5 games aswell so Sony have been improving.

I still rather own the game versus leasing.

Yeah it was called xCloud until recently when they decided to consolidate it all under the Game Pass banner (which seems a lot clearer, to me anyway).

That's Molyneux's schick. Ask Larry Bundy.

Is Cloud the same as streaming?
Technically no streaming refers to playing a game media remotely that's installed on a machine you own while cloud gaming refers to playing a game media remotely without actually needing to purchase the hardware required to run it

Xbox game pass is available for Xbox Android and PC with a slightly different selection of games offered in all three... Also they have a web version in beta atm that should be compatible with iOS mac Linux chrome and just about anything else with a modern web browser

Edit: what's more the xbox and pc versions allow you to download select titles to your machine so they can be played without lag

because they need mlb now that it's console exclusively with sony is over ... Was the other game you refer to console exclusive as well?

You see the reasoning behind the need is the sony microsoft feud ... Said feud is also the reason why Sony gave the ff7 remake away for ps+ as its console exclusively is nearly up and they want to poop on xbox game sales

though what the poster at http://harmful.cat-v.org/software/java said is true about Java, it isn't so much about C++, C# while preferring C over it. I doubt he'd write a network stack in linux, port a SQL server in C and a mail client if it was a senior C/C++ paid job. You don't even need to care about pointers in C++ if you don't use them and instead use the OOP classes, such as an object reference, which is safer because it guarantees object heritage (Inheritance) which eliminates the need of a garbage collector. Typical use case of this is to use push/pop operators over a vector array, where you don't even need malloc. (it's used internally, yes, but by going the inheritance way you let the C++ to handle it for you)

C# is a whole new thing, and it's built around the idea of removing all the C bits in the C++ implementation, so what you get is an entire OOP language without backwards compatibility.

http://harmful.cat-v.org/software/OO_programming/ <- OOP allows a generic build to scale approach to solve problems. And compatibility. In my experience an API/Shared Libraries by being encapsulated, is less likely to get optimized/destroyed by the compiler, specifically in embedded platforms.
