I couldn't care less about Spike, but the fact that Cock of Doody 4: Casual Warfare 2 didn't win the VGA's this year has left me speechless. Good to hear that Uncharted 2 won, though.

I was face plamming like about half the awards of games that didnt even deserve it

jack black is a sellout now, he only got the award so he could do that shitty "act" he did on stage and try and get some laughs

but yea, also surprised that they didnt give mw2 goty (im not saying they deserved it by any means, thought they would just give a popular vote instead of a game that actually deserved it)

Uncharted 2 was a great game, very fun and had a pretty good story. But the game was WAAAAAY too short.


Game of the year should have been New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

It was fun, great for a group of friends, was kinda hard, had the option to beat it 100%, and was fucking awesome.

I think it won cuz it was a FUCKING AWESOME GAME.
And it was. The story mode never gets old, and the multiplayer modes are FANTASTIC.

That being said, MW2 is still a great game.

Uncharted 2 is a brilliant action/adventure game developed by Sony's Naughty Dog Studios, the same guys who made the PS1 Crash Bandicoots and the Jak & Daxter series.
Anyways, it's one of, if not THE BEST game that has been released this year. I whole-heartedly mean it. It's fantastic.

Game of the Year for me has to be Dragon Age Origins on the PC. Good story, gameplay and replayability.

Also a neat toolset to make your own mods/areas and so on.

I see, I dont really think id like it then, I hate crash bandicoot and Jak and Daxter, although Ratchet and Clank isnt too bad, I'd much rather play CoD:MW2 Even though its not THAT great, but still...
