GAME not stocking any EA titles past SSX.

GAME Group will not be stocking any EA games past SSX in March, including Mass Effect 3, Eurogamer has discovered. This encompasses all GAME and Gamestation stores.

Well Game and Gamestation both suck anyway. They never have any decent games in stock, the only ones they ever have are recent releases, everything is overpriced. I kinda hope they crash and burn and we get something better in their place.

This is the end of game stores. They didnt stock tales of the abyss for 3DS (altho that was hard to find in uk in general) they said they wouldnt stock the last story and im now reading that they wont be stocking mario party 9, altho thats unconfirmed atm

Its a shame really because i always liked game but to not stock mass effect 3 is ludacris, i dunno what crisis they are going through but yep game over man....

A pity that specialist stores don't stock games.. I prefer to look through a catalog of games in a store rather than an online store regardless wether I buy the game online or from the store :/

Yeah i get that logic and i dunno about other games they've not sold in store but for a store called "GAME" surely they would know (or do some research) to discover that tales of abyss is so rare to find for the PS2 cheap that people WILL want it in store for 3DS, i mention that game specifically because they did indeed sell that online when i went in store to ask about it. The fact remains tho, If you're gonna go online to buy a game then you dont generally go to a stores website to get it, you goto somewhere like play.com or amazon and get it WAY cheaper.

I think some game stores are forgetting why they have a store, i realise in this day most people shop online but the ones who cant or dont want to (like me) still need a reliable store.

Not really, it's stupid to go to GAME/Gamestation anyway since they always charge more, going to supermarkets, CeX (for older games) and even just stores like HMV is always likely to be better.

It's actually great for the customer, game.co.uk was the only retailer in the UK before who sold this game, now there are four including amazon.co.uk.
Plus it is 5pounds cheaper on amazon.co.uk than it was on game.co.uk.

Luckly in japan amazon had it right from the start and we get it on the 6th!

Lame usually sucks when it comes to buying games.

I haven't bought from Game for many years now, i always look for the best prices for games and consoles on-line, which Game cannot compete with their large overheads.
