    I have been using backup .iso files no problem. Now I have got one that is file type .gcm Do I need to convert this into an .iso or will it still work?

    just burn as is with imageburn slow as usual .........all will be ok.......................

    Right. I think you can even just rename it to .iso and it should work as well too.

    Not 100% sure about that, but if I remember correctly, it works.

    yip pretty sure u can do that too but imageburn will recognise the filetype and burn it as is...........

    yeah the above commenters are correct, its the exact same as a normal .iso, just with a gamecube friendly extension, they both burn exactly the same way!
