Please help! I just googled it and it seems to be common problem with this line of devices. But im still not sure I understad how to fix it, and I want to be careful not to mess anything up o my router. (Its soo lame that I have to change things on the router even though the tablet is the one at fault) Its a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 btw. Wifi model. What there needed to be is a way to tell the router to stop scanning for networks if its already connected to one. But there is no such setting. Maybe there is an app that does this? . http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...0-wifi-disconnects-reconnects-constantly.html This guy talks about "cross talk with other routers". Should I follow his advice? I just got an app called Wifi Fixer and it shows a log. It shows how the tablet it constantly doing network checks. Exactly once every 20 seconds. But about 1 in 4 times it shows a fail message. Example: I/O Exception192.168.1.1:HTTP_FAIL:4005 ms The message is always the same except for the amount of ms. Normally the message looks like this: 192.168.1.1:ICMP_OK:51ms The amount of ms varies each time. https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/nexus/WVq-dR6rx0g This guy had the same problem, downloaded wifi fixer app, and noticed the same thing. As far as can be told, he never figured out how to fix it! What the hell man.
