Galapagos RPG (new collaboration company from Compile Heart) teaser video

    Compile Heart are previously best known for helping out with the Record of Agarest War series and Galapagos RPG is a new venture from them where they wish to team up with other developers (they have collaborated a lot with other companies in recent years) and aim to make pointedly Japanese games. Some see this as a reactionary move to those made by other Japanese companies that are shifting gameplay styles popular in other geographic areas; see things like Capcom and Dragon's Dogma or the Dark/Demon's souls series.
    They already have their first title in mind which is set to be released this year according to siliconera (linked below).

    From what the anthem's stating the games produced this brand might be casualization free and pretty hard in difficulty.

    Despite the fact that for me Japanese devs have been at their best these last few years when they try their hand at themes more popular in western game development circles I am curious to see what is made by this venture.
