    Ok, i have 2 scenarios that happen when i try to write to my g6

    1. immediately after i press "write" and choose the file, there is a pop-up that says "write ok"
    but the rom is not written on to it

    2 another pop-up shows up that syas
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime error!
    [filename]
    abnormal program termination
    and G6 manager closes

    for #1, make sure you are either extracting the zip file or making sure that the .nds is the only file in the zip if loading from that.

    Or you can try to used some kind of progam that is blocking the C++ File to be extracted to the Media Player?

    Well I think something is Blocking your Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Humm make sure you are using
    1)Windows 98,Me,2000,Xp If you are using Vista run the G6 Game manager in WinXp Compatibility mode
    2)Make sure you have Windows Media Player 9 or Higher Series

    You should look at what I wrote. This question has come up many times before... I have no idea what t43026 is going on about as he likes to come in and "save the day" with random answers to questions that have already been answered

    How would Windows Media Player have anything to do with the G6 Game manager?

    kaobeikaobei, Have you tried reformatting the G6?
