    G6 & M3 Updates!

So much news crammed into one single post!

Funny how I leave for a day, and we get a triple whammy of updates!

    M3 Game Manager V31 & Firmware V31B Released

    G6 U-Disk V4.6D Released

M3 DS Simply ships out to retailers and reviewers!

Changes for both Game Manager & U-Disk:

    · The most up-to-data games are supported.

NOTE: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin still has freezing issues on M3 (use Trim Rom, Safe Mode), but Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam among others now work properly.

    Known Changes for M3 Firmware:

    · Increased compatibility of DPG2 video files.

    · New version of DSM video format support.

    · Increased JPEG photo browsing function with new modes (dual screen, portfolio and navigation display).

    · JPEG photo problem has been amended.

In addition, I received an early morning e-mail from Team G6/M3. The initial production of M3 DS Simply is complete, and shops worldwide as well as privledged reviewers, such as Shaun and myself, have our samples en route to us. Expect a review here very soon by Shaun with a 2nd Opinion review my yours truly. Right now, I'm gearing up to publish the review of the NinjaPass X9 and soon, the eWin 2 Lite.

Grab the M3 updates here and the G6 update here!

DPG2 playback doesn't work. And it also goes out of sync with 32768Hz audio.

And why do they even bother with DSM when it's essentially DPG, just at 10fps?

From what I've heard, the guitar game works now.

    look in the m3wiki.
It seems that Castlevania is less freezing with this update. I played it around 30minutes and i got only one freeze.

Well, with V30C and a Corsair 133x SD, Castlevania didn't freeze at all and I finished it.

    I was hoping a M-06 support.

    Thanks TheSpade for the news.

M3wiki is dead. What settings to play DS Guitar M-06 on M3 sd?
EDIT: Works with 4x DMA, soft reset, trim rom.
