Well I'm certainly curious to see what the changes are.

Probably won't update until I find out!

The changelog was released with the release of the loader, as usual.

^ Ok, now I'll update from 2.3. I've been waiting for a useful update.

What about download play. Have they perfected it yet?

Since the last update they had full DL PLAY AFAIK as long as the kernel has been integrated with the M3 Real. There should be a different way to boot that game

EDIT: Just realised, but Spade is back O_O"?

Now where's that promised R4 update? A lot of the other cards has updated since the team announced a new version and it's still not there.

Or maybe I overlooked it, but I check GbaTemp everyday for news.

Does anyone know how to het the English system files running on a chinese version? I just copied the system files, but then the card wouldn't start. Maybe it's something like copy only that and that file?

same. but the gbatemp updater's don't seem to be doing a very good job lately. "other" sites are on top of homebrew, updates and releases alot better than gbatemp - and thats just not right.

It's currently scheduled for half november, so we'll have to wait.

I hope they'll release it this time...

You can try it if you like, if you do be sure to let the rest of us know if your card is the same as the ones pictured.

edit:/ all else failing, you should be able to get the chinese firmware from the official site listed in the first post.

Confirmed: I have the Chinese version. :'(

I have the Chinese firmware, but was wondering if I could use the English firmware on the Chinese card.
    Well, I guess not.

Did you even read the topic's title that I pointed you at?
"Turn your Chinese M3 Real to English, and vice-versa!"

I have just tried download play to an unflashed DS and it still doesn't work.
There is actually no "download play" button next to the start button even though a picture of this button exists in the skin folders of the latest firmware.

Can anyone explain how to display this DLPLAY button or confirm that DL play doesn't work ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dai.

I can't get it to work.

I have tried with both "V2.42c X" and "V2.42d X" and nothing happens when I click Y (in the game list or in the config menu).

    By the way, I have a G6DS Real 16G with a Flashme V8.

PharaohsVizier, you have tested the new M3DS Real (english version), can you tell if its firmware is the same as the one we currently use ?
In the ahtin's review of the Chinese one, there are pictures where we can see the DLPLAY button and I thought that download play would be fixed (on the english version) when this button finally appears.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dai.

I can answer this. They removed the button and replaced it with with Y button press in the next firmware.

    EDIT: This is a fact.

    Thanks for the answer.
But still, it doesn't work for me. Am I doing something wrong ?
Could you explain how you "click on the Y button" and the firmware you use to do so ?

    Thanks,
    Dai.
