If you take a look in
C:\Program Files\G6 U-DISK Manager\
You will see NDS_CHEAT_CHS or JAP or ENG (i guess different firmware support)
Has anyone ever tried out these cheat files? In the txts it seems as if they are action replay codes. I wonder if I could just use AR codes? Probably not right? Has anyone tried anything? If AR is incompadible, maybe a way to convert it?

So..now what?

We have to use dipstar in order to have codes working..or does the g6 supports this already??

Because i don't understand a shit of dipstar and it's lacking translated english manuals etc.

I dont think the G6 Lite will support the dipstar, so it must have it built in.

Here is the english instructions for dipstar:

(the where is the code link does not work)

QUOTE said:
"-Project DipStar-" is cheat-tool for NintendoDS.
The one such as GameShark and ProActionReplay.
(But,My release was earlier.)

@The necessary one
1.GBA FLASH CART(EZ-FLASH,XG,USBLine,etc..** Please "Not use loader" **)
2.PassMe(M3/G6 PassKey,PassKey2,MAGICKEY MK2/MK3,etc..)
3.NintendoDS(FW1~FW3) or NintendoDS(FW4/FlashMe)

@This cannot be used.
1.M3-PerFect,G6adaptor,SuperCard (Loader is obstructive)
2.SPRITEKEY,SUPERPASS,EZ-PASS,PassMe2
3.NintendoDS(FW4/No FlashMe)

@How to use
1.Please write dipstar.ds.gba in GBA-FLASHCART. ** Plz! "Not use loader" **
2.Please write dipstar.ds.sav in FLASHCART-SRAM area.
3.Please set PassMe+DSGAME and GBA-FLASHCART in NintendoDS.

Please start while pushing L button.
The operation method is written on the screen.

Please start while pushing A, B, START, and the SELECT button.
These buttons are the same as .

@Where is the code?
http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA018359/nds/cheatcode.txt

@How to search
1.Use disassembler : http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA018359/ndsdis/
2.Use search-tool  : sub folder \hasteDS\hasteds.exe & Emulator(iDeaS or DeSmuME)
3.Read documents Â : http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA018359/nds/dip_top.htm
                   Â (Sorry,Japanese only)

@Code format

0XXXXXXX 000000YY .. 8bit write it only once.

1XXXXXXX 0000YYYY .. 16bit write it only once.

2XXXXXXX YYYYYYYY .. 32bit write it only once.

Yea dipstar doesn't support G6.

A converter does exist i believe it's called ARCrypt but i could be wrong. GBADEV or wahtever for more info. of course they're very easy to "convert".

I didn't mean dipstar on g6, i meant maybe the g6 lite firmware itself supported dipstar CODES.

I don't see any other reason why the g6 loader would come with codes......haven't found a way to get these to work though.

Maybe someone could e-mail the G6 support guy and ask?

I noticed the codes and GBA and I managed to get them working fine but I didn't know that there are codes for NDS games as well or how they work.

sadly english people hate cheating (but we all know that we do it all the time in school)
not enough support for it
you can use the official action replay codes from the site and convert it to dipstar by simply changing a few digits.

imaha or whoever the creator of dipstar has a site with many games
but it's all in japaanese and web translators dont help much

you can try to request some cheats at m3-forum.com in the proper section

lastly, dualscene.net has a crappy database

Thanks...
I've tried converting AR codes from the codejunkies website for 3 games.
Advanced Wars (got no effect) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour (the game freeze)..the only game that's working is Bomberman.

Anyone one got a working master code for Advanced Wars and Yugioh??

there's a program that comes with the zipped dipstar that can find master codes
ndsmas.exe

i forgot whether you use the first code or second code but i think it's the first.

there's a lot of variables for dipstar.
you could be converting the codes wrong or patching something somewhere wrong.

dipstar needs more english support and it's not gonna happen
