Hacking From Luma3ds 11.0 emunand to A9lh

Hi guys, I've an O3ds with luma installed on emunand.
I want to install A9lh and tweak my 3ds to the best, what's the best method to intall A9lh without losing all the content in my emunand? It is better to update everything to A9lh or there is a way to backup the emunand and start everything from zero?
Also I've heard that now the Rednand is better with A9lh, is this true?
