    Always on the move...

    FrodoDS ver 4.2

    now supports DLDI

Troy Davis releases another update to this C64 emulator for the DS.

This release ships with DLDI support, which is a standard by now, so hopefully this version should be compatible with most flashkits on the market
This is a port of Frodo a Commodore 64 emulator for the Nintendo DS by Christian Bauer, with modifications for the nds by Troy Davis(GPF).

    How to play:

Make sure you copy your .D64 c64 disk images to a folder called /rd on the root of your CF/SD/TF card.

Startup the emulator and it will allow you to select the d64 disk to mount on drive 8. You can press the right trigger to have it automatically type load"*",8,1 and then run.

You might want to test the .d64 file on another version of Frodo to verify that the d64 is compatible with Frodo.

while playing games the dpad and a and b buttons are used for your joystick, press select to switch between port1 and port2 that the joystick is in.

    A button joystick firebutton.

    B button space key.

Lovely! For some reason I never bothered with c64 on my DS, though I've tried most other emulators.

    *Goes off to play Creatures*

It's been improving great. I only had one of the first releases so kinda forgot about it, but tried a few games and sure it's not perfect but it's getting there.
