Hacking Friends list not working on Emunand

Okay this is just stupid now, I re installed everything with 3.0 and diddnt unlink and it still crashes :/

2.6 isn't outdated, it is infact the latest stable release.

It really is, the nightlies have far surpassed it by now and as 2.6 is really old and Nintendo have released multiple firmware updates since then, those updates have caused compatibility problems.

Next step would be to reformat your emuNAND.

How do I do that? I've formatted it like 5 times tonight through gateway while installing the various versions of RXTools

That's what I mean by format. Last resort would be to update to 10.3 and then re-downgrade to 9.2 again. What firmware were you on before you downgraded?

Yeah go ahead and update your emuNAND to 10.3 using system settings. Make sure you are in emuNAND before you update.

make sure to get all the files necessary, like slot0x25KeyX.bin, 0004013800000002_cetk.bin, and the files from cdn_firm.py.

Yeah, if you have an O3DS, you can update your emuNAND to 10.3 using the system settings.

It worked, but now there are a few more problems, firstly whenever I go to the link to launch rx tools there are now no options, it just boots me into emunand.. Im cool with that but FBI isnt installing any cia files now, like none at all. from the pokemon update I was previously able to install to big blue screen. I now have a friends list but cant install or play any games because FBI isnt installing anything

I think that is normal for the 3.0 nightly build. If you want the options, hold L. Have you added title.db and import.db in your sd card and restored database?

You need to create the base folders <id0>/<id1>, just go to Data Management -> Nintendo 3DS->Software or DSi Titles. Then create 2 text files. Rename them as title.db and import.db. Create the dbs folder and then put the db files in that folder. Then go to Data Managnent AFTER creating the empty files and it should say your DBs are corrupt and rebuild them. Then you should be able to install stuff with FBI.
