Hardware Friends 3ds seems to be pushing the bottom left of the touch screen

Hello there~ Curious to know if there is a solution for this, or how much it would cost to send it in.

My friends sister has a new 3ds (the galaxy one) and asked me to look at it. It kept pressing the bottom left 'manual' button on the screen. I calibrated it and it seemed to be working fine again, but it started pressing on the bottom left of the screen again, when I tried to calibrate it again it was doing it by itself. I THINK the 3ds casing might be pressing against the bottom left of the screen but I'm not completely sure. Is there any way to fix this without sending it in?

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
