Hacking Friend updated his wii

Ok i need some help. I hacked my friends wii a couple months ago. Everything was fine. He bought Kirby epic yard and told me the game updated his wii. Im thinking it's not a problem since i have bootmii installed. Kirby removed homebrew channel but since bootmii is still there iw as able to reinstall it from the bootmii menu. So as of now we have homebrew channel back. However he now cant install any wads. Going into the wad manager turns the controller off. Also sonic colors is no longer working. Launching it through neogamma gives me "Error #001-Unauthorized device has been detected"

Wii is on 4.3 Using neogamma r9 beta 47 ios36. Any help?

it sounds like you need to re-intall the cIOS's.

i'm a little surprised that you are having troubles re-hacking.

If you would have used stickies you would have rehacked correctly. Of course you have to reinstall cios because update installs stubs ont top of cios. download modmii and with modmii, download ios236 installer and recommended cios. Install those cios with a wad manager using the newly installed ios 236. and thats its a up to date wii!
