The usb to lan adaptor may help a little but, don't think it's going make all your laggy matches suddenly become smooth. Their are two main factors, that seem to determine lag especially for Wii games and that is of course your opponents connection speed and 2nd which seems to be the most important is how far the distance is between you and your opponent.

Is everyone else laggin , or is it just me? I have FIOs connection.. 15mb down/3mb upload per sec.... it shouldn't be laggin...

Location problem....I was playing you. I am in Canada over here, and you are in the US, that's probably why. The lag wasn't THAT bad though, still managable.
