If i was to do a fresh install of the twilight hack on a wii, what would all the ios files i would need to make sure apps such as USB loader. backup launcher, wad manager etc work?

i bought a wii from a store and know how to install it. I just want to know all the wii ios wads i would need to make stuff like VC games, wad manager etc work properly. (eg how u get error = return -1 when trying to install a wad thru wad manager) Sorry if im confusing

Firstly. You don't need Twilight Hack as Banner Bomb is much easier and compatible with all Wii's.
There are a heap of good Guides out there that will walk you through this step by step. My two preferred are:
ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide
[Guide] Fully Softmod Any Wii (everything you need), HBC + BootMii + NAND + New cIOS + PreLoader + Backup
Read both and make sure you understand them FULLY before starting. Ask questions BEFORE starting on anything your unsure of.
Remember, Bootmii and Preloader will save you if you make a mistake during the process.
Ultimately you want to achieve the following, in this order:
1. Bootmii installed and a NAND dump made and stored safely.
2. Home Brew Channel (HBC) 1.03 installed.
3. Upgraded to 4.1, either with Wanin's tool or officially.
4. IOS36 patched with Trucha Bug Restorer (TBR).
5. Prelauncher installed and relevant hacks applied.
6. cIOS 10 or 14 installed.
7. IOS60 patched with Dop-IOS.
8. USB or Backup loader installed.

If you want to download IOS's you should always use NUSD. You can get it from WiiBrew: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/NUSD
That way you can make your own IOS wads and be sure they are legit and for the right region.

Note that IOS16-64-v257.wad cannot be created with NUS Downloader. (It's not on Nintendo's servers.) There is no need for IOS16 any more, since we now have Trucha Bug Restorer.
if your getting errors with wad manager
its either you have no trucha bug or you have no wad folder on your sd card [ if using wiininja's modified verison of wad manager]
