Freelancer

    While on the GP32X forums I noticed an old game Frontier had been ported. This game looked really cool. So I looked it up on Wikipedia and found that there is a modern equivalent called Freelancer. Are they are any free equivalents for game like this. Thanks [​IMG]

    None that I know of. But Freelancer is an awesome game and probably dirt cheap now. You should be able to pick it up for $10.

    Linux.......... My mate use to have and he raved about it. I guess I could get it other ways [​IMG]

    Try a GP32/2X emulator with that game.

    Vega Strike I believe is similar in many ways, its free and probably even in your distribution's repositories.

    I also remember reading about an open source clone of Freelancer itself a while back, but I think it was Windows only.
