Dude...if you did that, there are 14 results (perhaps a bit more or less if there are some region-locked games). Watch a few trailers, read some reviews and try out the ones that still interest you. Are you really going to let the possibility of a filter not being 100% accurate let you from playing a free single player game?

You do know that there are PC games outside of Steam, right? Free games on Steam normally are super small in scale or make up for it by being online and having micro-transactions. You'll have better luck googling for freeware. Or, you could just buy games instead. Or... you could... you know... "pillage" some.

GOG has some free ones you can get just for signing up. There's also a thread with the top 50 free games in the PC section. Google "freeware PC games" and there's tons of results. Also, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm are free, just need to install the Battle.net software.
