After EA's recent clusterfuck-on-fecal waterslide debacle that is the latest SimCity, they announced that buyers would get a free game to compensate for the spotty connectivity of the game, required to play it, leaving many buyers unable to play the game at all. Well, the list is finally out for your free game choices, so take your pick.

Buyers will be able to choose from:

    • Battlefield 3 (Standard Edition)
    • Bejeweled 3
    • Dead Space 3
    • Mass Effect 3 (Standard Edition)
    • Medal of Honor: Warfighter (Standard Edition)
    • Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Standard Edition)
    • Plants vs. Zombies
    • Sim City 4: Deluxe Edition
They're pretty recent games, with Dead Space 3 hitting just last month. So, if you're a SimCity buyer, take your pick.

That's probably for the more "casual" buyers. My dad bought this game and I doubt he'd be interested in the other games on the list. He'll probably get one of those or SimCity 4.

Yep. But pretty pointless as they're all cheaper than SimCity now anyway.

Dead Space 3 is the same price as SimCity on Origin.

Plus you get SimCity as well. I know boohoo DRM but once it's sorted out you may enjoy it.

Or buy it if you want Dead Space 3.

More like..."Who buys things at Origin?" EA deserves piracy.

Those choices are actually not bad at all. I don't own Simcity (and I don't want to, just not interested in it) but this looks pretty decent for a free compensation game.

Good selection to choose from here, but there's still the fact that SimCity 5 is pretty unplayable. I would wager most people bought SimCity 5 to play SimCity 5, not to play Dead Space 3.

Hmm...at least they're giving away the games people might actually want. But I doubt it'll be enough to draw away the attention from a single line of misplaced code...

It would be hilarious if sim city 4 would become more popular than this one, though. :P

Looks like you goofed, Guild. They're not offering those exact titles - just the knock off Chinese equivalents.

Not quite the same deal, though I have to say, I've had a blast with the Deed Space franchise. It's the most frightening estate planning simulation ever. Definitely a must buy.

Considering it's the only place to buy Dead Space 3 on the PC, quite a few people.
