I spent many hours today with the help of several people trying to modify the usb loader gx forwarder source code to make a forwarder.dol that would look at both SD:/apps/uloader/boot.dol and USB:/apps/uloader/boot.dol

Never got it to work. Booted the wads and they'd yield a black screen.

Can someone please give me a main.cpp that I can just change the paths in and I can compile and it'll work? I'm at my wit's end here. :/

Oh. Sorry. I remember when people were creating USB Loader channels with the game's banner that you could hex edit the .dol to change the game id. Have you tried hex editing that dol?

    could be changed i assume?

If I can't fix it in the source code, how do you think I'm going to manage to change it in this form?

All I need is this .cpp and then I'm fine.

Well I don't know if anyone has one. Your best bet is probably figuring out why you can't recompile the USB Loader GX forwarder.

I meant why you can't recompile a working .dol for the forwarder.
