Fortnite's worldwide popularity continues to be a sensation in the gaming industry. Epic Games will be teaming up with Marvel to create a crossover based on the recent Avengers: Infinity War movie. The character from the film, Thanos, will be featured in an event that starts tomorrow. Regular Fornite Battle Royale 100-player matches will play out as usual, but there will be one change; the Infinity Gauntlet will appear somewhere on the map, letting one player per match turn into Thanos and wreak havoc. It's not known what you'll be able to do playing as him, but it's mentioned that "you'll have all the power that comes with him". This specific crossover occured because the directors of Infinity War had been massive Fortnite fans, and asked Epic Games if they would be willing to create a tie-in event. Fortnite's Infinity Gauntlet Event will start on May 8th, and run for a limited time only.

This game is now perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

fortnite is exceptional because of what it is. the world they have created, the little things the coders have added, the community that supports it, etc. it never tries to take itself seriously, as a result, squading-up has never been so much fun. the fact that marvel (disney) is supporting this game just shows how big it has become. shite on it all you want, fortnite is carving the way for all future battle royale style games.
