Anyone else not impressed by this game so far? I'll give it that the graphics look fine, and movements looks smooth, if a bit scripted. But from the gameplay videos I've seen the combat doesn't seem fun to play. Switching spells is done through a radial menu, interrupting the flow of combat, with accommodating enemies that walk towards a player that can shoot them from afar. Maybe my suspicions are wrong, and I'll change my opinion if they show more.
What I believe is unlikely to change is my opinion of the script; a generic premise with Netflix Original tier writing, and, so far, a very uninteresting foul-mouthed protagonist. Maybe that will change too, but if writers in the last decade have taught me anything, is that they can start digging below the barrel once they reach the bottom.
Anyways, a delay like this is unlikely to be caused by ER, the game was supposed to be released by the end of May, far away that it wouldn't dig into its sales. Instead I believe it was pushed for the same reason as ever, they need more time to get it ready, and they cannot afford to release another Babylon's Fall-like disaster in the same year.
