Hacking Format partition of a hard drive?

Hiya. So, I have this 2 TB external hard drive and got to thinking: Is it possible to format a separate wbfs partition. Like, set 32 GB as a wbfs partition to use with the backup loader, and leave the rest to be used as a normal hard drive?

you can....but only a 32 GB partition? that'll hold only ~10 games or so....

what you should do is just format the whole thing as FAT32, then you can use as a wii HDD and a computer storage drive all at the same time....on the same partition

pretty much all USB loader now recognize FAT32....some even recognize NTFS, though it's not preferred as it's not quite as stable as FAT32

Get a program like EASEUS Partition manager. It will let you resize the primary partition and create a new, unformatted logical drive with the free space created. Then just load a WBFS manager and format that drive.

Yes it is possible and you can do it in windows too.
The only downside is that you have to format your drive in order to do so.

Believe me, 10 games is more than enough. TBH there hasn't been much for the wii that I want to play

Formatting the hard drive isn't an issue since I haven't even opened it yet

Ok, so I have it working with Fat 32, however, I can't seem to use ciso files, only wbfs files. Is there any way to fix this?
