Did you do the 15% or 100% patch? I am trying to pick one, don't really care about double channels but I would prefer to not semi-brick myself. Is one more or less likely to semi-brick you (I am on 3.1u).

I thought that a semi brick isn't possible if you have the latest firmware? Just if you have 3.0 or lower.

Semibrick occours with double channels, which happens when you 100% update it. if you 15% update it it wont have the duplicate channels, but we're still not sure about the side effects of it.

only way to brick your Wii with SSBB is to update from 3.0 or earlier.

No it doesn't. It occurs only if you haven't the newest update.

so if my wii is firmware 3.1e im fine to 100% update?

I'd carry out a system update using wi-fi before doing it regardless, if you don't have anyway to do that I'd not 100% update.

so before i do it i should click system update? and then if it says no firmware to update to or something ike that it is safe to update100%
