    does GBAtemp really need it?

    The wha'?

Are you referring to the "5 letter minimum" thingy in the Search function? On a forum where most queries consist of 3 letters?

    "2.4e for EZF4"
    "E3.4 for M3"
    ".sav for EBA"
    ".dpg on G6"
    "GBM on SCL"

Or did you mean something else?

He means when you search for something, get no results, and try another search within 20 seconds. Which if you have a decent internet connection, takes ages... >.>

I used to see it so many times, I made the "flood control" message my signature...

I've never had problems with the searching flood control. Rarely use the search function as it sucks anyway.

Almost every forum I go to uses search flood control.

    Remember when GBAtemp recently crashed?

the minimum length for a word in a search is 3 (been like that for a while)

and the flood control is 15 seconds... you really can't wait this long?

I'm sure it wasn't working at the weekend, but admittedly it doesn't really matter when. Yay for 3 letters working! [IMG]
