Hey guys. I got a 360 not long ago and have ofcourse played lots and lots on it. Everything was well untill i once played Resident evil 5. When playing the game (or in a cutscene) there would always be a "flicker" or whatever you call it going up and down on the screen. (like a line horisontally). And i noticed this only happened with resident evil 5 and only in a cutscene or when i was moving (not when i was just standing still). But now i've noticed it happens when playing dead rising. (just got the game), and i'm starting to worry if there's something wrong. I've got a flashed 360 (v1.4) and all my games are burned on 2,4 speed (if that helps).

So i guess my question is, is it the 360 that's messing up or the discs? (or worst case scenario my tv xD)

    Any help is apreciated!

A mate of mine started having similar problems just before his 360 red ringed. I'm not saying it's the same thing for sure but it does sound like it.

That line in resident evil 5 happens in everyones copy so i believe. It's graphical tearing.

Dead Rising or RE5 don't suffer from graphical tearing on mine, or at least it's not noticable enough to make me wonder about the console. I'm only running on 720p though so it could be that.

    So do I mate! [IMG]

This is an image of the screen tearing in RE5, notice it just at the top. Quite a few people have noticed it.

I've only got a 19" telly and play everything at 720p so that probably helps alot!
