Hi guys,

I'm new to the wii modding bizo, but one of my mates GAVE me his wii! It is of PAL region. (I'm using the component cable)

So, I bought a flatmii and installed the chip/drive combo. I downloaded Boom Blox PAL version to test and everything works fine.

I then proceeded to download Mad World(NTSC-U) and try that. It shows up in the disc channel, but once launched presents and black screen and nothing happens. I googled this issue and apparently this problem has something to do with the video output of different regions, is this correct?

How do I go about running japanese/american games on my PAL wii via my flatmii if this is the case?

Any help/clarrification would be super appreciated, thanks.

Try using gecko os or neogamma to load as you can change the region etc. I get the same problems with mine, Not too bad these days as the gap between pal - ntsc releases is really small.
