Hacking Flashing with correct chipset

Sorry if this posted before, I searched previous post but couldn’t find any related topic.
I decided to flash my liteon drive on windows 7 64 bit I no longer care if its ban from live. But jungle flasher do not detect the drive and I turned off that driver signature enforcement also I signed the driver with signature enforcement over rider (runs as administrator for everything). Still it’s not detected.
On my bios setup I can see it detected the drive as [PLDS DG-16D2S]. Does it mean my pc able to flash it? Is there anything I need to change on BIOS? I also decided to dual boot xp for this purpose.

If you dun care about live then I'd reconsider getting it RGH'd/R-JTAGged.
You'll get much more out of your 360 that way.

yes I am planning to do jtagg myself. but its appear I got all the custom tool needed for this process. and plenty of verbatim dl dvds. thats the reason I am interested on flashing it.
yes I am powering it through xbox360. and sata cable connection from pc, if the drive name appear on bios, is that mean my pc have what it required for flashing ? but why not on jf. port I/o is sort of dll I presume? yes I signed it. I received that port error frist time . or should I try switching to windows xp?
but its not clear to me my pc main board supports it or not.

Unless you haven't updated it since the summer of '09.

the dashboard on that console says something like 2.0.16547.0 . which looks like jtagable
though i am not sure.

Haha, no.
7371 is the last dash that's able to be JTAG'd at all.
I don't know where you got your information from but 16547 is way to new.
Or.. you could be confused with R-JTAG, in which case I could understand it.

Hmm, your Mobo doesn't show up here.
So I think you're out of luck on that one lad.

hmm i am installing xp on same machine, will try with it. heard 64 bit windows 7 has issue with jungle flasher.
its falcon mobo on 360..(are you sure no way j tagging it?)
well if xp dosent work i will try buying those sata card available. and all the other tools for flashing.

If your SATA chipset isn't listed in there, it's likely to not work.
You could try it, but I don't think you'll get very far.

Nope.
JTAG is patched since 8xxx and is never coming back.
The only way you can execute arbitrary code on your 360 is by R-JTAGging it.
Which requires you to buy a chip.
Good luck on finding R-JTAG chips, their out of production as of November '13.

Well if you're out to buy flashing gear then I'd reconsider your options and maybe head with it to a modshop.
It might be more convenient to just get it hacked then to do it yourself (R-JTAGging it would require soldering skills)
A VIA SATA card is probably 20 quid, so if you're keen on getting it flashed then a VIA card is cheaper.

But end up with a brick…….
Everything going so well at first but when it’s about to write data on drive it froze and crushed leaving lifeless drive behind. And I lost the port number I was during the process...
Luckily I saved those file its gives during probing process (some bin files including dump).
And I copied the dvd key, well it’s with dumb anyway. But the JF no longer detecting the drive that I could recover it and as I mentioned I don’t know which port I was on (no idea that’s its necessary before brick).
Now the problem why it’s crushed in the first place? It did when writing some sort of bank 0 and hanged there…..or do I order anther good quality 6421 sata chip...

I haven't flashed a lite-on in quite a while so I may be wrong, but have you tried clicking "Outro / ATA Reset" then "Intro / Device ID"? You should click VIA Ports Only and try on each at least once. Hopefully it'll show up afterwards, it's quite difficult to fully brick a lite-on and they're usually recoverable, though if you're not keen on playing around or not sure of what you're doing, I would recommend that you send it to someone who does and possibly pay for them to RGH/R-Jtag it whilst they're at it.

i did all the port still its not appearing. i can do well myself really..... as long as following a good tutorial . as you see i idid extracted bin file with custom prob. its the hardest part . why it did crushed ? its failed to write anything.
is it the sata chip poor quality? or something to do with windows 7 ?
or how do even know if its detects it?.. i mean i disabled all other drive and surely this no longer will appear as lite-on drive since it bricked.
need help pls.

prolly cause you used the 360 as a powersource (which isn't the best solution)
Or jungleflasher could've hanged, you could've clicked a button to fast etc etc.

Humm, you can try and follow the JF manual.
If you can't get it back to life then you could send it to me (along with the firmware dump)
I could restore it in no time.

ha thanks but I really interested doing this sort of thing myself. though this is the first time for 360 but I hacked other console in the past.
one thing I dont get it whats differences does it makes powering from xbox?
or may be that chipset wasn't good enough. I did followed the tutorial carefully and it was writing part where it was hanged. just doubting two thing os and chipset .
I will try to read the manual. and I see there Is a method of DOS flashing. will take a loook at that. as long as I got those bin files there is one way or other around it rIght?

Have you connected it and tried sending vendor mode? I have saved a few drives by doingso , even when jf doesn't detect the drive.

hmm I am not in pc at the moment but I tried few methods such as changing port , liteon erase its return s with no device detection error. tried with io port only still cant make it detect. so vendor mood not an option as it seem. how do you send it vendor mood when its bricked anyway.tried loading source and target fw too still no detection of drive.

Try pushing the "Intro/Device ID" button (not the "Lite-On Erase" button), with the drive powered and connected to PC.

Its look like its able to detect and write to drive and I did it through pc mobo not raid controller.i just I used the long sata cable that came with that sata chip.

After you flashed the firmware to the drive in the MTK flash 32 tab, and write it verified, you'll have to press the Outro / ATA reset button in Jungleflasher.
