Hacking Flashing emunand to regular nand?

Oh, I've probably got what you're telling me: if I update the sysNAND using the same package for emuNAND's update, my N3DS will be able to read files in the folder as of now accessed by emuNAND, won't it?

It won't. Just updating it doesn't change its unique id.

It's not bricked. I'd like to transfer my data to my sysNAND which is 9.0. I was thinking of downgrading my emuNAND to 9.0 (to gain full compatibility with my sysNAND) and flashing it on my sysNAND using the Gateway launcher.
Xenon, it's because I want to update it to 10.3 without losing my emuNAND data (it's not mine, a friend of mine asked me about this procedure, I've already told him he's going to regret it).

So, should I modify the 9.0 emuNAND.bin? Can I flash it as is? Would I run any risk?

I would make a backup up the 9.0 band just in case he does want to go back to that firmware. you should make backups anyways, but he won't regret it as much cause he would have that backup.
