Hacking Flashing BenQ

I have an elite with a BenQ drive on firmware 2.0.13599.0. I don't want to flash it at the moment, but wanted to know if I update to the latested firmware, will I preclude the system from ever being jtaged, reset glitched, key extracted, etc. Thanks!

You can update safely to 14699.

Key extraction will still work.
LT+ 3.0 will still work.
Reset glitching will still work (regardless of the dashboard version)
jTAG will NEVER happen above dash 7371.

edit: You only loose your Kinect dashboard but you gain the new Metro dash.

Your kernal is already to high to be jtaged (8495 or higher cannot be) but you can still RGH and or flash your drive with even the lastest dash or 14699.
