Well, I got this thing in the mail today. I am having fun with it, but the learning curve is making me feel like kind of a dummy. I think I have it mostly figured out. Anyone having anything easy to add to this card's usage, I am all ears.

your going to be patch roms, alot.

There is also a write limit on the generation of NOR flash it uses, it is probably half or more the way there.

Assuming this is an original F2A and not an F2AU, look into Pogoshell. Kuwanger did a LOT of work on it back in the day, adding tons of functionality. He mostly posted his work to some Emuboards thread, which I'm having trouble finding at the moment unfortunately.

EDIT: here we go, everything you need to know about his version - http://kuwanger.net/gba/pogoshell/

Some general Pogoshell info can be found at http://www.pocketheaven.com/ph/wiki/index....title=Pogoshell and it links to a site with some interesting plugins, like GSM audio players and image viewers and such.

I will look in to Pogoshell, although after a good long while of dorking, i did get the thing working pretty well with the Default writer program. Thanks much guys, and I actually have both now. F2A Pro, and F2A Ultra.

Yea, you're still a bastard for the EZ III actually. [IMG] Especially since my M3 Just died. [IMG] That said, both F2A cards have been really fun, although a bit of a struggle for me to learn what the heck I am doing with each.

Dude, I have been searching for an EZ Flash III for almost 2 years now... I even made two trade topics with no responses. They are rare... If I ever find another and buy it, how about this, I'll give it to you? [IMG] or trade it for your broken M3. What's wrong with it anyways?

The F2A Ultra I had was sweet, though. RTC is aweosme to have for somebody like me who loves Boktai and Pokemon lol. Stupid EZ Flash IV (don't get me wrong I love it lol) won't play them correctly.

Pin broke inside. I replaced it, but something must have fried, it doesn't boot up. Deal on the second Ez 3 if it shows it's head though. [IMG] First goal for me now is still an EFA linker.

Edit: I use an XP laptop for my GBA stuff. I put pogoshell on there, but XP doesn't seem to recognize any of the filetypes. >.>

yeah a have a few and they can be tricky to set up especially since you need a parallel port and windows 98 to get it working, along with the software of course.

No prob, I started snooping the net for these carts a year ago, they are hard to find. I eventually got a hold of a few but sadly a couple of them burnt on me after using the software and I don't know why.

edit: I collect flashcarts and rare handhelds. Infact I have the rare neo geo pocket color flash cart complete in the box, and other carts.

I use dgmax to make multi roms and gbx tool to flash it to the cart.

edit: what other flash carts do you have, are you a collector?

I have the NGP color flash kit CIB and others as well.

OH MAN. OHHHH MAN. I am SUPER pumped for that 64Drive cart! N64 flastcart with no extra bullshit, loads games (99.99% rom compatibility) with just drap and drop to a CF card. Oh man, SO pumped...

I forgot, I also have an Acekard 2i (CIB) and M3 Zero (CIB). I guess my collection is respectable, my game/system collection is better. I kinda miss my F2A Ultra perhaps I'll find another one day. [IMG] I really wanted a GB Bridge for mine when I had it, never thought I would see the day when one would show up now I miss out lol. Ah well the GB Doctors will satisfy my GB/GBC needs.
