Hacking Flash Advance Linker - Single ROM / Full Cart Size

Going a bit old school here! I dug out my old Flash Advance Linker the other day and got it up and running. Now I got the hard part down, that is, getting a parallel port linker to play nice with Windows 7. I've used UCON64 to write a 32 megabit game to it, and I'm still experimenting with the Little Writer program. If there's a better one to use, please let me know.

Anyways, I have a 256mbit Vitoly Turbo card to go with this. I'm looking to use it as a single-game care and write one single 256mbit game to it, it's the one "GBA-Only" card I have that can do this (my other card is a 128mb). I've tried using Little Writer to write to it in Single Game GBA Mode, just writing the raw GBA file to it, but to no avail.

Do I need to do anything special or apply any patches to the rom to make this work ok? The game is one of the Spyro ones.

Every spyro game uses EEPROM for save type. To use it on the F2A or FA, you will need to SRAM patch it. You can use any GBA SRAM patcher available in the download section.
